It says 9 bows but with Vrashku I'm at 11 Crossbow shots. I don't own all the "Rohan at war" forgeworld models yet, but that's the list I would like to field at a tournament one day. I'm exporting it, that's why it's kinda awkward to read. I already had a list for that exact pointlimit in my app. I would include either Lurtz, Ugluk or Gorulf as a striking combat hero and Vrashku or Sharku as supporting backline hero. You'll need some named heroes with Saruman because you need some might that you are willing to spend on moves and marches. The troll himself doesn't get knocked prone because his strength is too high.Īlternatively a bomb team could be a lot of fun with Sarumans command spell, to make big enemy heroes walk into your bomb. Although Saruman works insanely well with a troll because you can sorcerous blast in the trolls combat, knocking everyone prone, who is fighting him.
That's why you need to get that from somewhere.Ī troll doesn't feel good to me since you will be lacking numbers of troops as long as it's not going in the direction of 1000 points. When playing Saruman and Grima you gotta remember that you're paying over 200 points for 0 combat capabilities so far. Mostly orcs with spears to support Uruks with shields in the flanks.
I would definitely include some orcs to bump up your numbers.
